The hotel is well-located, near key attractions like the metro, Lapa, and St Theresa. The rooms are nice and clean, though the bathrooms could be cleaner. It's odd that there are limited power outlets, with only one near the wash basin. However, not needing the air conditioning much due to pleasant weather is a plus.

The hotel had some room issues with cleanliness but offered very good air-con. There was a weird smell, likely due to the air conditioners situated in the windows of my room and others. The service was kind and helpful with advice, although English wasn't spoken. The location was very convenient, close to Cinelandia metro and Lapa nightlife, despite being a little shady. The dining left much to be desired, but it had a good selection of food that could keep you full. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some positives and negatives.
